Slow[TV]

SlowTV is a remarkably relaxing and immersive kind of virtual tourism. When the COVID-19 pandemic shut the world down and kept everyone inside, it was the best time to go for a LONG socially distant drive around town and record the whole thing. No commentary. No music. Just raw footage taking you down the best routes past the best sights that these cities have to offer! Put it on in the background or use it to fall asleep, but it’s time to hit the road and really experience what these places have to offer.

Dawson City

September 28, 2021

Take a ride around the centre of the Yukon Gold Rush’s old stomping ground in a Jeep Wrangler with sweet lofi beats. Dawson City was a really hot property in 1896, and it’s still got all the madness of a frontier town.

Canadian Rockies

June 11, 2022

Strapped the GoPro10 to the roof and drove from Lake Louise to Banff Springs through Alberta's gorgeous Rocky Mountains on an incredibly beautiful day. One of the all-time greatest beautiful drives in Canada. Possibly the world...

Toronto

May 22, 2020

Our maiden SlowTV drive was a 3 hour exploration of Canada’s largest city and our home, Toronto. The city of 3 million people had been largely shut down due to COVID so traffic was incredibly light which made for a unique, smooth driving experience, but of course we still hit rush-hour traffic on the DVP.

Ottawa

June 4, 2020

When quarantine lead us to temporarily relocate to our national capital, Ottawa, we were really excited to take a nearly 2 hour tour around Mike’s incredibly photogenic hometown and the seat of Canada’s government.

Toronto Nights

May 26, 2020

Toronto is gorgeous at night! Being the largest metropolitan area in Canada with 3 million people means that the city at night is an electrified masterpiece bustling with energy. But during the pandemic those 3 million people stayed in and left the lights on (except in CIty Place where a dozen highrises were experiencing a heatwave power-outage) so it was a great way to see Toronto’s bright lights…and the dark corners.
