When we found out our favourite band was playing in Norway at the Bergenfest Music Festival, we got tickets for two and started planning a nordic adventure! In this series we watch the changing of the guards at the Royal Palace and Canadian turntablist Skratch Bastid play to a packed house in Oslo, jump into a frigid fjord and catch cod on a live-aboard catamaran 350km north of the Arctic Circle in Tromsø, and explore the street artists and markets in Bergen. The sun barely set while we were there and but we weren’t going to sleep anyways

Part 1: Oslo

Arrive in Oslo, find food and drink, make new friends.

Part 2: Skratch Bastid LIVE in Oslo

When we found out Canadian DJ Skratch Bastid was playing on one of our only nights in Oslo we had to see him tickle the 12's to a packed house!

Part 3: Tromsø

Tromsø is a vibrant city of 70,000 people 350km north of the arctic circle. The sun never set so exploring was a 24h activity.

Part 4: Arctic Fishing

Learn to fish, catch the fish, eat the fish! Captain Kurt and the incredible Polar Fishing Adventure!

Part 5: Fjord Explorers

Marlene and Kenneth from Polar Adventures take us on a private tour of the fjords so we could swim in one, followed by lots of drinking!

Part 6: Bergen

Mike and Tamara headed due south to the fishing town of Bergen to see the city from the top of mountains down to its bustling harbour.

The point of our trip was to see Sigur Ros live at BergenFest but we ended up with so much more!
